Established in 1986, the Institute for Continuing Healthcare Education (the Institute) has developed and executed thousands of accredited programs involving hundreds of thousands of healthcare practitioners. Our purpose: to help smart healthcare professionals become even smarter in clinically meaningful ways. The Institute provides certified continuing-education activities for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, dietitians, and other allied-health professionals. All educational activities are based on relevant needs assessment, and we design and develop all educational content with the appropriate application of adult learning principles in mind.
